Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Dr. Maggie has long had a connection to the Roaring Fork Valley, having grown up skiing in Aspen and even participating as a 1998 Powder Panda alumna. Returning to the area felt like coming home. Outside of the office, she enjoys skiing, fly fishing, traveling, and cooking, and has a passion for exploring new restaurants and cuisines—a love she proudly credits to her South Louisiana roots.
Meet Bethany Haerter, RDH
Office Manager and Hygienist at Basalt Dentistry.
Bethany Haerter brings experience and a passion for patient care to Basalt Dentistry. She met her future husband, Dr. Jonathan Haerter, during dental hygiene school, and together they pursued their dream of living in the mountains, beginning their dental careers in Colorado in 2000. Since then, Bethany has excelled as both the office manager and a dental hygienist, first at Vail Dentistry and now at Basalt Dentistry since 2019.
Outside the office, Bethany is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, hiking, mountain biking, stand-up paddleboarding, golfing, and spending quality time with her two ski-racing daughters. Her commitment to an active lifestyle and her community shines through in everything she does, making her a cherished member of both the dental practice and the local area.
